Last week our students were engaged in a range of career and life planning activities.  Grade 7’s heard from some of our grade 9 students and their employers, and grade 8’s had an introduction to resume writing. Grade 9’s opted in to 1 of 3 sessions – SLB preparation, time management and checklists for work, while the grade 10’s had their first College Open Day at Launceston College. A small group of interested grade 8 students visited Timberlink on a site tour and gained an insight into what careers are available within the company. Lots of great information and skills gained for all our students!
