On Friday 1^st July Beacon Foundation and Federal Group held a Hospitality Polish Session. With the help of these amazing mentors Prospect Senior Secondary and High School students were able to gain insight into working in the hospitality industry- particularly at Federal and also build interpersonal skills to be confident in applying for positions. They were encouraged to develop their ‘elevator’ pitch which would succinctly deliver a positive message about their interests and aspirations. We finished the day with a networking lunch and mock interviews with the mentors who gave feedback and helped students communicate effectively.
