Grade 9 Update
Working Wonders
The Grade 9 team acknowledged the fantastic efforts some of our students have shown during the first half of Term 2. Each of the below students should be very proud of their efforts.
Taylah (9.1) achieved remarkable success in the Launceston Competitions, winning the 9/10 Creative Individual Programme, Grade 9 Monologue and placing second in the Grade 9 Recital. Throughout this process, Taylah demonstrate that she was a motivated, creative and independent learner.
Imogen (9.4) participated in the Drama competitions. In preparation for this she demonstrated creativity, motivation, and independence as a learner.
Ace (9.4) contributed excellently to Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea- giving all in class time and both her recesses up to prepare, serve and distribute food to staff and fellow students.
Alex (9.3) has taken to Barista Basics like a duck to water. He is an enthusiastic learner who persists at practicing and his efforts should be rewarded.
Luca (9.3) is a very motivated, respectful, and resilient student. He applies himself to all learning tasks and is determined to improve his skills and knowledge in all areas.
Liam (9.5) always works well in History and English and shows persistence towards his studies.
Ella (9.2) for being a motivated and persistent learner in order to achieve her goals.
Jarom (9.2) for being a respectful and motivated learner and applying himself in all areas.
Cross Country
We also acknowledged the excellent participation of the whole grade at our recent cross country. Special mention to our winners below.

Teach Yourself Tuesday
The grade 9 team have introduced a new intitiative for students to make meaningful connections with their peers. We launched our 'craft session' this week in The Nest Cafe'. If you have an interest in craft and want to make some new connections, please join us next Tuesday. *materials are provided.
