Cody - collaborative, motivated and flexible

Cody was an invaluable member of the service crew at Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea last Thursday. He went the extra mile and offered to stay - ending up giving up both his recesses to help clean up. He was polite, very helpful and a wonderful example of what a good catering student should be.

Ondene - collaborative, curious and motivated

Ondene has only had three lessons in Barista Basics and remarkably has all but mastered the coffee machine. She is enthusiastic, diligent and completes cleaning tasks without prompting. She listens to peer instruction and takes all feedback onboard. I am very excited about what she can do in this area given more time.

Georgia , Sofia , Danielle , Georgia and Hayley - collaborative, creative and persistent.

Together these students planned, created, prepared and created a wedding cake for our cleaner Darryl-Ann. They did such a wonderful job – the results were extremely professional and exactly what the client wanted. They operated outside of their comfort zone and took it in their stride. It was a very rewarding extension task- not only for them but for me as a teacher to see how much they shone.
