Last Tuesday the students of Prospect High School participated in the 2022 cross country carnival. Grade 7 and 8’s took part during lesson 2 and the grade 9 and 10’s completed the course in lesson 3. Thankfully we were treated to a nice sunny day and all those who took part were offered a tasty zooper dooper at the finish line. The cross country offers students the opportunity to express themselves through numerous of our focussed learning dispositions at Prospect, such as being persistent, motivated and collaborative, and there was plenty of this displayed throughout the day.

Grade 8 Girls: Georgia  1^st,  Jaimee 1^st, Lani  3^rd

Grade 8 Boys: Griffin 1^st, Koby 2^nd, Henry 3^rd

Grade 9 Girls: Matilda 1^st, Grace 2^nd, Chloe 3^rd , Isabelle 3^rd

Grade 9 Boys: Rowen 1^st, Campbell 2^nd, Luca 3^rd

Grade 10 Girls: Zoe 1^st, Jada F. 2^nd, Emily 3^rd

Grade 10 Boys: Alex 1^st, Lachlan 2^nd, Amos 3^rd  

Students who finished in the top four of their event will get the opportunity to compete at next weeks inter-high cross country carnival held at Scotch Oakburn Park. Well done to all students who did their best and participated.
