Once again, we celebrated Book Week in the library this year. Mrs Williams welcomed students from each class to view our Reading Expo, where a range of new and popular books were on display for students to view and select for our school library. There were also competitions and events throughout the week, including lunchtime trivia, Book in a Jar & Guess the Young Adult Book of the Year. The highlight of the week was our Book Week writing competition which encouraged students to be creative with the Book Week theme ‘Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds’. This culminated in a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in the library for those students who entered. Congratulations to our winners Gabrielle & Mary!
