In Term One, students have had the opportunity to participate in various different Tier 2 programs. I have run one called Mia’s Arts and Crafts with myself as the school health nurse. This has given me the opportunity to form relationships with the students as well as being able to impart some health and wellbeing education as is relevant. This term we painted and planted succulents in pots. While doing this we were able to work with each other in a small group and form positive relationships with others utilising and focussing on positive communication. We also discussed many issues which were relevant to the students such as bullying and safe internet use. We would like to thank Leah S for the donation of the succulents.
