Grade 8 Art classes are exploding with creativity!

Students are being influenced by the work of Rex Ray and Henri Matisse to create a ‘cut-out’ collage in a Colour Harmony of their choice. Through investigating colour, students have planned artworks, creating original designs that represent their understanding.

Students are then translating that collage to a large scale abstract painting.

Mrs Derbyshire is so impressed with the focus and engagement in learning taking place in her two art classes! Look out for a display of works early in Term 2.
