During lunchtime, many students have enjoyed time together sewing pocket hearts for themselves or to give as gifts to friends and family. The idea for this activity came from the 1000 hearts project that started in Hobart in 2016. The founder made and gave away 1000 pocket hearts to offer comfort, love and hope to anyone who needed it. This activity provided an opportunity for students to meet new people, enjoy some time in the library, and learn and practice some new skills.  It was a very popular activity and one we will run again during the year.
