Check in TAS App

Prospect High School visitors including parents will be requested to check-in using the Check In Tas App.  This App complies with Public Health Guidelines by enabling customers to self-check-in when visiting Prospect High School and other venues.  At the School Administration Office there will be QR codes on display which can be scanned using your phone camera within the app.  Please refer to the instructions below and FAQ’s.  Your support in this would be appreciated.

We would encourage families attending the Welcome BBQ to download this App.

Download the App

The Check In TAS app is a new Tasmanian Government system that is now available to help venues and patrons/visitors record and store contact details.

The app enables patrons/visitors to check-in to Prospect High School and have their data stored securely with the Tasmanian Department of Health in the event contact tracing is needed due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the community.

The app also supports venues operators and event organisers meet the current Public Health requirement to record contact details of individuals or one member of a group of patrons/visitors who spend more than 15 minutes on the premises.

The free app is now available for individuals to download via both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store

Although a range of methods are available for venues and patrons to record details of their visits to hospitality venues, the Check In TAS app will enable the Department of Health to store the contact details for 28 days before they are automatically destroyed.
