Earlier this year, Mr Harrington helped us create the Prospect High School Landcare group. On Tuesday we gained the opportunity to participate in a National  Landcare youth summit with 15 other groups from around Australia. We watched two panels about Global Solutions and Local Action. We also took part in four workshops which provided us with information about how to influence and communicate a message along with project and career ideas. We have been lucky enough to receive a $1000 grant for a school-based community Landcare project. We are aiming to develop partnerships to complete this project by including local organisations and businesses who might like to help. We will start planning this week and aim to recommence next year. If you would like to have some involvement, please contact the school.
