Friday Eats
The Friday Eats crew have continued to be busy with their Friday lunch trade.
The past two weeks have been amongst our busiest, with a lunch menu featuring an open beetroot falafel wrap with a range of vegetarian sides, and for the meat-eaters, a loaded chicken burger (with the BEST onion rings in town).
Morning tea has consisted of our ever-popular lemon cheesecake, which students have perfected over the term.
Our take-home pizza option is also keeping the crew busy and keeping staff happy on a Friday evening.
The program is only as successful as it is because of the hard work, dedication and preparedness to learn by all student participants.
It has been a privilege to watch them grown in confidence and ownership of the Friday Eats program as the year has progressed. I look forward to seeing how they finish off the year.
