Grade 10 students recently visited Newstead College and Launceston College for orientation, both visits were very successful for all students. Many students cited that they found the experience highly informative and a fantastic opportunity to tour both colleges, inspect the facilities, meet some of the college teaching staff, and learn more about the breadth of subjects on offer. As part of the orientation, there were so many exciting opportunities for the students to investigate and learn more about the subjects and courses that they can choose to form part of their Years 11 and 12 studies.

There are a variety of ways to study next year, with courses being offered at Prospect High School and other extension schools throughout Northern Tasmania. There is also a great deal of flexibility, with some students electing to undertake a shared enrolments, in order to study a specialised subject or to study in an environment that best suits their needs.

Overall, the Grade 10s had a fantastic time at the colleges. They represented their school proudly and were a pleasure to take.
