Working Wonders
Grade 8
Emily has been nominated for a Working Wonder for the thoughtful and insightful questions that she asked during the career presentations recently. Emily communicated with the speakers in a respectful and friendly manner and was a positive ambassador for PHS and a great role model for her peers.
Grade 10
Beth has been nomimated as a Working Wonder for an outstanding effort in all her classes throughout this year. Beth consistently presents her work to a very high standard. Beth also shows empathy and respect to other students within the class, this can be when working in groups or by helping others with their work. Beth is also helpful and understanding. Well done, Beth.
Will has been nominated as a Working Wonder for perseverance and dedication to his studies throughout this term. Will works hard to ensure he completes his tasks to the best of his ability. Will works well with a variety of other students in his classes and is happy to help when asked. Will consistently shows the school expectations of optimism and respect.
Rubi is to be commended for her perseverance and effort in classes. Rubi strives to complete all her work and is keen to ensure she knows what is required of her in order to do this. Throughout the year, Rubi has shown respect, empathy and kindness to the students around her and encourages students to show the school expectations of fairness and respect. Well done, Rubi.
Often very helpful in classes, James is to be commended for his respect, empathy and optimism. Whenever there is an opportunity, James is willing to take part – with a smile! James is keen to learn new things and try new experiences. James works well with others. It takes courage to be able to try new things, and he deserves credit for stepping in, when others are absent.
